596. McDonald Trail #1 8/14

Hiked down from Alamo Mountain. Saw 3 big Horn Sheep where the trail starts down, all males. By the noise, must have been a bachelor herd. You could here many more. The three I saw were on the edge of a cliff, and just dropped off. View is McDonald Peak. I wanted to get to McDonald Camp, but lost the trail at this point.
